Moruya River

There are currently plenty of luderick around at the moment, with Team Tackle World member Mark catching a nice feed and then coating them in Fog Dog batter for one very enjoyable meal!

A warm thank you to Liam who has posted some excellent photos of his catches on our facebook page.  Keep 'em coming Liam!

Tomakin

Bream, bream and more bream!!  These fish were so thick that you could have actually walked across them from one side of the river to the other.  On the down side, they wouldn't touch a thing that was thrown at them!

Tuross

Team Tackle World members Tom and Jade enjoyed a great catch and release session the other day releasing a multitude of flathead, however most were on the small side.  After playing with the flathead, the boys hit the salmon with Tom using Squidgy Flickbaits Yakka and Pillies with great success down deep, while Jade cranked the Arma Twisty's back along the surface at great speed for great hook ups with salmon jumping left, right and centre - a great time was had using light bream gear.

Beaches and Rocks

Salmon are still being caught off most beaches, in particular the Windsock and Potato Point with the tailor having slowed slightly at the moment.

Team Tackle World member Nathan has been enjoying the unusually warmer weather for this time of year and benefitting with a lobster meal or two after diving around the headlands.

Offshore

Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa I and II reports good catches of flathead and lots of them in the 35 metre mark off the front of Moruya using both soft plastics and squid.  Ron then headed out to the 45 metre mark for catches of snapper, mowies, heaps of gummies and pigfish.  The water temperature is currently sitting at 14.4 degrees celcius with a very mild drift - bar conditions are good!
