Local Fishing Report
I'm afraid with the extreme weather conditions we copped this
week (along with the rest of eastern NSW) the fishing report is
very limited. The good news is that prior to the wind, rain,
torrential storms, etc the fishing was good with Captain Ron
enjoying a good session straight off the front of Moruya last
weekend with catches of snapper, gummmies and flathead in 50 metres
of water, as well as some nice albacore also being caught whilst
trolling. The water temperature at the time was 17 degrees
celcius, and Ron has some vacancies for this Monday if you'd like
to book a place.
Now that the seas have abated it should bode well for this
weekend as great new gutters form along the beaches. Salmon
are still being caught (yesterday) on Arma Twisty and Metallic
Metal Slices. Moruya and Tuross should once again produce
some nice flathead and bream, with Coila Lake now being opened to
the ocean!
Enjoy the long weekend everyone and hopefully we'll have a
better report for next week!
Have a great week everyone and remember "everyday's a good day
for fishing ..... "
