Moruya River & Tuross

Moruya River has some very nice bream swimming around at the moment, in particular towards the front of the system and around Preddies Wharf and near the Breakwall - these areas are also producing good catches of luderick as well.

Don't forget that the perch and bass system has now closed, so if you mistakenly catch one of these guys as a by-catch it has to go straight back to where it came from.

There are still plenty of flatties in Tuross, however as we stated in the last fishing report, a lot of the fish are small, but with a bit of persistence you do find nice pan sizes in between.

Beaches and Rocks

The beach at Tuross is producing some excellent catches of Salmon at the moment with Nathan and Juzz landing some nice catches as well as Team Tackle World member Jade, and Junior Tackle World Munchkin Lachlan landing a nice 68 cm Salmon!!

The rocks are still working a treat for good catches of drummer being pulled in off peeled prawns or cunji.  Most headlands are working well with the boys being busted off on quite a few occasions.

Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa I and II reports good catches of Snapper and Mowong off Moruya, with gummies being plentiful and good pigfish as well.
Ron then headed straight off Broulee Surfclub in 20 metres of water to land some excellent catches of flathead.  The water temperature is currently sitting at a cool 17.2 degrees celcius with a mild current running.

Have a great week everyone and remember "everyday's a good day for fishing ..... "
