Fishing Report, 19 August 2011

Hey Guys - just got back from our conference and the Australian Fishing Trade Association Show - boy are there lots of new gear out  there!  Can't wait until it starts hitting the store which should start next week and go right thru until Christmas!  Shimano alone have developed 120 new Ian Miller rods and thats just a start!

Moruya and Tuross Rivers

Unfortunately from all accounts the weather has been anything but nice with heavy rain and big seas.  However one of our die-hard Tackle World members Dean has been landing some very nice big bream out of Moruya on Strike Pro hardbodies.

Rocks and Beaches

Stay away!  The seas have been big and we're not quite sure when they will abate.  We'll just have to keep an eye on the forecast.

Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa I and II got out once before the weather went hay-wire and scored some nice flathead, big snapper and morwong all on fishbait and prawns.  The water temperature at the time was running at 17.2 degrees.

Not much of a report we know, but these things happen - unfortunately no one can change the weather!

Looking forward to catching up with everyone now that we're back and as we said, new products should start arriving as early as next week!

Have a great weeks fishing (when the weather clears) and remember "every day's a good day for fishing ... "
