Hey Guys - we're away at the moment at the annual trade show and
looking forward to seeing lots of new products!! Apparently
the weather down home isn't too good at the moment, but Team Tackle
World members Nathan and Justine were able to get out earlier in
the week and here goes for their report.
Moruya River
Flathead and bream in Moruya also a few luderick.
Plenty of Leather Jacket and small blue spot Flathead to chew
your plastics up too.
Tuross River
Graham and John headed out last Sunday for a good mornings
fishing, catching and releasing a few bream, but it was hard
fishing. Lure of choice was the ever popular SX40's.
Congrats to John for catching his first estuary perch!
Team Tackle world member Evan enjoyed a good session landing
himself some nice flathead on Atomic Guzzlerz as well as a large
silver trevally.
Beaches and Rocks
There are still plenty of Salmon and Tailor off the beaches,
with good drummer and bream off the rocks.
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa I and II landed some nice
snapper (around the 5 kg mark), kingfish, mowies, bonito and big
flathead all caught off Potato Point on squid, fish bait and
prawns. All fish were caught in the 40-50 metre mark.
There are also a few Snapper up around Broulee, with plenty of
flathead off the windsock, just have to pick through size.
