Hey guys - hope everyone is OK and hasn't been washed away
yet!! What a horrible few days weather wise we' ve
experienced. However its good to get some fresh into the
systems and hopefully bring the fish on the chew, especially for
those of you who are going in the Bream comp this Sunday!
Good Luck!
Moruya
Graham and John headed up the back of Moruya once more last
Sunday to enjoy a great mornings catch and release session on the
bream out of the snags. Lures of choice were Sebile
Cranksters and SX40's!! Unfortunately we haven't been able to
get out since due to the poor weather conditions.
Tuross
Team Tackle World member Noel e-mailed us some great pics of his
recent catch and release session on Tuross earlier this week.
He landed up to 50 flathead in three days, twenty of which were all
over 70 cms and a cracker at 94 cm!! All flathead were caught
on Squidgie Wrigglers (see the website for some photos).
Rocks and Beaches
Please stay away from the rocks at the moment - its just too
rough and dangerous! Remember the fish will still be there
when the weather calms down (which is suppose to be soon - we
hope!)
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa I and II was supposed to be
heading out to the Shelf this Sunday, but doesn't like his chances
with swells up around the 5 metre mark at the moment.
Prior to the bad weather Ron succesfully landed some nice
snapper, mowies, gummy sharks and flathead all off prawns and
squid. The water temperature was running at 18 degrees
celcius and all fish were caught around the 35-50 metre mark off
Pedro. Team Tackle World member "Spider" also enjoyed a good
session on the snapper, with a Mako taking a liking to his outboard
and having a good old "chew"!!
Hurry in store as we sell out our Shimano Stradic FI's at
absolutely ridiculous prices - limited stock so be quick as these
won't last long!!!
Remember that we now stock a great range of Archery gear - so
come on in and check it out!
Have a great weeks fishing everyone and remember "everyday's a
good day for fishing ... "
