Hey Guys - hope everyone has enjoyed a great weeks
fishing! Here goes for this weeks report.
Moruya and Tuross Rivers
Team Tackle World member John caught and released a lovely 70 cm
flathead on a SX40 last week, proving that they are not just only
for bream! Graham enjoyed catching and releasing an
assortment of bream and tailor on the same fishing trip, sticking
to the proven Strada Quika hardbodies.
Beaches and Rocks
Please be careful if rock fishing as the seas have not been kind
this week. Always check conditions before heading out and
grab a mate to take with you. Most beaches are still
producing nice catches of salmon and bream.
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa I and II has not been able to
head outside due to rough conditions this week, however landed some
excellent mowies, 30-40 cm nannygai's, very large ling and some
large leatherjackets all off fish bait and squid in the 40-50 metre
mark. The sea temperature was running at 17 degrees celcius
and you need to be patient at the moment as it's taking some time
to "find" the fish.
Please check the "bar" and conditions prior to heading out as
the seas at the moment are dangerous and perhaps you might be
better suited sticking to the estuaries or staying at home for a
couple of days.
To land yourself a booking with Ron contact the shop or Ron
directly on 0404966607.
Head in store and check out our new range of caravan accessories
as well as our waterproof gear which includes phone covers, camera
covers, bum bags, sleeping bag covers and lots more!
Have a great week everyone and remember "everyday's a good day
for fishing ... "
