Hi Guys - hope everyone has had an enjoyable week.
Unfortunately Canberra decided to send their winds our way which
didn't prove too good for the fishing!
Moruya River
A few reports of flathead down around the "hole in the wall",
with estuary perch also being reported down around the
weedbeds. Good catches of luderick are also being had
straight off town wharf around the boat moarings and down towards
the Ryans Creek area.
Tuross
We headed out Wednesday despite the most atrocious conditions
you could hope for and tossed around our Strada Quika hardbody
lures in the deep divers. Second cast seen these lures work
their magic with Gaye cataching and releasing (right beside the
boat!) one BIG bream! Graham's next cast also seen him land a
nice 38 cm - please go to www.tackleworldmoruya.com.au
for these latest pics!!
Reports of good luderick are also being reported around the boat
shed area, as well as near the pipeline. Head further towards
Potato Point for isolated catches of flathead.
Beaches and Rocks
Meringo is producing some great catches of salmon, tailor and
bream with the wall still producing good catches of both salmon and
tailor off Arma Chrome "Twisties".
Please be careful of conditions before heading out onto the rocks
as these winds are still blowing!
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa I and II was able to get out
early in the week prior to the winds and secured good catches of
snapper, tiger flathead, leatherjackets and swallow tail nannygai
all in the 22 metre mark straight off the front of Moruya.
The water temperature is currently running at 19 degrees celcius
and once again, with these winds around please check conditions
before heading out!
Have a great weeks fishing everyone and remember "everydays a
good day for fishing ... "
Graham, Gaye, Bec, Mark and Nathan
