Hey Guys - we've enjoyed a great week of fishing and hope you have
too.
Moruya and Tuross Rivers
Team Tackle World member Mark enjoyed a great catch and release
session on Moruya River on Monday, landing himself some great
flathead on DOA Prawns and some very healthy bream and tailor on
Camions. Nearly sufffered a heart attack when the tailor took
off with the Camion, but managed to get it back!
Meanwhile Paul has been bobbing around on Tuross enjoying great
catches of flathead and bream, with Graham joining him on Wednesday
to catch and release a very healthy 77 cm flathead on Sebile Magic
Swimmers in the soft plastics range. Paul found Camions and
2" Gulp Shrimp fished on a resin head to do the trick on both the
bream and flathead.
Tomago is once again fishing excellent for flathead on a mix of
soft plastics and fresh poddies with Team Tackle World member
Brendan enjoying great sessions all week.
Rocks & Beaches
Some very good tailor have been brought in off the end of the
"wall" this week, while Spud Point proved popuar for catches
of salmon off metal slices.
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa had a wonderful day in snapper
heaven, landing a heap of snapper up to the 60 cm mark in 50 metres
of water off Pedro. Other catches included mowies, pigfish
and kingies. Flathead are still being caught off Coila as
well. The water temperature is currently sitting at 22.8
degrees celcius with no current running whatsoever, so you don't
need much lead.
Have a great weeks fishing everyone and remember "every day's a
good day for fishing ... "
Fresh live beach worms in stock now, but be quck they
won't last long!
