Hey Guys - hope everyone has enjoyed a great weeks fishing - I know
we have!
Moruya & Tuross Rivers
Graham enjoyed a lovely mornings fishing prior to opening the
shop early in the week to be rewarded with a catch and release
session of five estuary perch on camions and some small tailor on
poppers right underneath the bridge in Moruya River. Team
Tackle World member Nathan landed some nice flathead down the front
of the river on live "nippers", while Mark scored flathead on DOA
prawns and bream on camions over the weedbeds.
Tuross seen another week of Paul fishing every day and enjoying
some great catch and release sessions on both flathead down the
front of the system and bream in the leases, as well as in
"Trunkie".
Dave Buttfield turned up to have a fish and film some footage
for "Hooked on Tackle World" to be handed a downpouring of rain on
Wednesday! However Graham did land a very nice 85 cm flathead
(which of course was released) and some nice bream as well - watch
Aurora on Tuesday night to view the footage.
Beaches and Rocks
We are still getting good reports of salmon, tailor, bream and
blackfish off most of the local beaches and headlands.
Offshore
Captain Ron reports good snapper, mowies and kingies out in the
45 metre mark straight off Moruya. Travel up to North Broulee
to land yourself some nice flathead in 35 metres of water - there
is a reasonable current running so you will need to use a sea
anchor to slow down your drift, and the sea temperature is
currently sitting at 22.5 degrees celcius. Col landed himself
some very nice kingies early in the week using Gulp 6" Jerk Shads
in the Nuclear Chicken variety.
Have a great week everyone and remember "every days a good day
for fishing ..."
