Hey Guys - bit of a "stormy" week however all is still good on
the fishing front.
Moruya, Tuross and Surrounding Estuaries
Moruya is still seeing nice catches of flathead from the flats
around Yarragee right down to the front of the system. For
best results try Squidgy Fish 70 mm in the Gary Glitter
colour. Good catches of trevally and tailor are also being
had.
Nice bream are being brought in out of Tomakin (behind the club)
on the new Rapala Ultralight Minnow in Finesse Sinking, Green Fire
Tiger lures.
Team Tackle World members Nathan and Justine headed out for a
great catch and release session on the Bass the other day, with
Justine out fishing Nathan using the old tried and proven
SX40's.
Beaches and Rocks
Meringo is absolutely teaming with salmon, with the Windsock
producing good catches of tailor and salmon - gang up some salted
pillies or throw an Arma Anchovy metal slice around.
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Woppa I and II reports good catches of
mowies, kingfish, sand flathead, pigfish and snapper all
around the 40 metre mark. The sea temperature is
currently running at 19.2 degrees celcius with quite a quick
current running, so the use of a sea anchor is
recommended.
NOW IN STOCK: NEW Shimano Waxwing lures - perfect for
casting or trolling when chasing the likes of salmon, tailor
and kingies.
NEW Shimano PJ Metal Vibes - brilliant on bream, perch and
flathead!!
