Hey Guys - just back from a week in Queensland checking out all
the new products that will be on the market by Christmas.
Some very nice gear indeed!! Keep an eye out for our new
range of Sebiile lures in store as soon as we can - these lures
have got to be seen to be believed!!
Anyway here goes for this weeks fishing report.
Moruya River
With the water cool and clear you should be rewarded with
catches of bream and trevally, as well as some nice winter
whiting. A long light leader is a must for fishing in these
conditions as you don't want the fish spotting the line and
spooking!!
Tuross
Good luck to everyone on Sunday entering the Southern Bream
Series - it should prove a great catch and release event! And
that's about all we're going to say about bream, because we'll be
out there too!
Beaches and Rocks
The warmer weather is seeing people back out and about on the
beaches, with nice catches of bream, salmon and tailor. Head
to the rocks for Drummer, luderick and bream.
Offshore
While it has been slightly quiet this week, Captain Ron onboard
Winda Woppa headed out just north of Broulee's northern beach into
50 m of water to secure some nice catches of snapper. A move
in close to the creek off Broulee's south beach seen good catches
of flathead in 30 m of water. Heading back home also secured
some nice mowongs off Moruya's first reef. The water
temperature is currently 15.9 degrees celcius and hopefully we
should seen an improvement in conditions as the week
progresses. All fish were caught on fish bait and squid.
Remember Dad's Day is just around the corner and our current
catalogue is selling fast! Make sure you get in store quickly
to secure your purchase!!
Remember "every day's a good day for fishing ... "
