Hey guys hope everyone has had a great week - here goes for this
weeks report!
Moruya and Tuross
Although the weather has been lousy this week, we should be
rewarded later on with good fishing from this flush out of the
systems.
Bream, tailor, trevally and luderick are holding up down around
the Preddys wharf area with prawns or white bait a sure bet.
Try the deeper areas like the four ways in Tuross with metal vibes
for a catch of bream , flathead or tailor. Remember to keep
your action shop and sharp for best results.
Beaches
Now that the seas have calmed down alot from last weekends big
blow the salmon and tailor will be on the bite so try some metal
slices or pilchards ganged on a paternoster rig. Some big bream are
also being caught along the beaches - the best bait for them is
beach worms or prawns.
Offshore
Capt Ron onboard Winda Woppa like everybody else has had a week
of "maintenance", but is chartering all weekend weather
permitting. Just before the bad weather hit Tackle World
member Brian had some good catches of kingfish, snapper and gummy
sharks out off Congo. With the churned-up water the fish
should be feeding more actively but as always keep a close eye on
the conditions.
and remember "every day's a good day for fishing"!
