Hey Guys - welcome to this weeks report.
Moruya
Team Tackle World member Nathan is still haivng fun with his
catch and release sessions on the Bass around Kiora bridge.
Some very nice catches of flathead are also being had around the
"spur" wall (breakwall). Gardlandtown is seeing nice catches
of whitiing at the moment on fresh beach worms, as well as some
decent size bream.
Tuross
WHITING!! WHITING!! WHITING!! These guys are
on the "chew" at the moment with the majority of them being extra
large! Ring and secure your tub of fresh beach worms arriving
in store every Friday.
Some very large bream and flatties are also being had down the
front of the system on both fresh bait and small diving lures like
Strike Pro Pygmy's.
The bass are still further upstream above Snake Flat with the
SX40's still proving lethal.
All in all both estuaries are performing extremely well both on
fresh bait and lures.
Beaches and Rocks
The beaches are still firing as well with just about every
species being landed - once again on both fresh bait and metal
lures.
Offshore
Captain Ron onboard Winda Whopper had an extremely good three
day fishing trip with the boys from Woy Woy Fishing Club.
With the water temperature hovering between the 19 and 21 degree
celcius markand the current proving mild, the boys caught a nice
range of snapper and mowies on Silstar Jig Em rigs in the 40-50
metre mark. Good tiger and rock flathead catches were evident
along with pigfish, extra large nannyguis and the occasional gummy
shark. Watch the kingies the little fellas are back!
Have a great week and remember "every day's a good day for
fishing!"
