Hey Guys - hope everyone has had a good week. The weather
has
been beautiful and the fish are sitll on the chew, so all
is
good!!
Moruya River
Good catches of flathead, whiting, trevally, bream and some
luderick
are being had down the front of the system, mainly on live
beach
worms or freshly pumped nippers.
Perch are still being pulled out of the snags upstream,
responding
well to small diving lures and surface lures.
Bass are still around but you need to head right up the back of
the
system for these guys. Best lure River2Sea Bugi Pop
35!!
The "wall" is still firing with large salmon and tailor on
metal
slices or ganged pilchards if you like your bait fishing.
Bream
and flatties are also being caught on the beach side of the wall
on
live beach worms.
Tuross
Good catches of whiting are still being had down the front of
the
system on both beach and blood worms as well as flathead,
large
salmon (up to 91 cm) and bream on whitebait and soft
plastics,
inparticular Gulp minnows in nuclear chicken and pumpkinseed.
Beaches & Rocks
Good catches of salmon, tailor, bream, flathead and whiting
are
being had off all the beaches and headlands both up and down
the
coast. Try your luck for a "jewie" off Tuross of an eveniing,
as
well as sharks which are still plentiful.
Offshore
With a nice water temperature of 20 degrees celcius running,
Captain Ron onboard Winda Whopper reports good catches of
snapper,
mowies, pigfish and flathead - with the flathead being
plentiful.
The snapper and flatties are responding well to soft plastics
at
the moment - try Gulp 4" jigging grub in "smoke".
Have a great week everyone and we'll let you know where to
catch
your "easter" fish next week.
