Moruya River

Some nice flathead are enjoying the warmer weather at the moment, with good catches on Atomic Guzzlerz 3 inch prongs, as well as prawns and squid.  Head upstream for some nice Bream around the snags on Rapala Husky Jerks and Bushy's Stiffy minnows.

Team Gone Fishin' member Paul had an excellent catch and release session out of the wind last Saturday in the leases, with a total of 25 Bream for the session.  The tailor were also on the chew with Paul's tackle box now being quite light on with vibes and needing new leader material!

Down the front of the system, like Moruya, the flathead are back on the chew with quite a few good reports of fish around the 50 cm mark, with Squidgy Fish Garry Glitters proving very popular.

Beaches and Rocks

These areas have slowed abit this week with occasional catches of salmon, tailor, bream and drummer coming out of the Congo area.

Team Gone Fishin' members Mark and Evan are enjoying a session on board the Winda-Whopper with Captain Ron.  The "slime" from last week is still around, but has cleaned up a little, making fishing a touch easier.  Catches of extra large mowong, snapper, leatherjackets, pigfish, flathead and some 7-gilled sharks have been had this week all around the 50-70 metre mark.

Mark the "Rock Cod" King - go Mark nice Rock Cod on plastics!!  We also hear that Evan's new favourite colour is a shade of "green"???

Happy Fishing everyone and good luck to those fishing in the BLF Comp on Sunday.
