Hey guys,
Here's this week's fishing report:
Moruya River - Team Tackle World Moruya member Matt had a great
morning on the flathead using Berkley 3 inch Drop Shot Minnows in
the Pearl Olive colour with half a dozen fish around the 60-65cm
mark. Good catches of whiting and bream have been had around
the Preddy's Wharf area on surface poppers in the shallows, whilst
the luderick are being caught directly off the wharf on cunji.
Turross - Team Tackle World Moruya members Mark and Daniel have
had some great sessions in the past week catching bream and perch
on SX40's. The oyster leases also produced a highly
successful session for bream on clear C'ultiva Gobo Poppers.
There are plenty of flathead down the front with the lure of choice
being Squidy Pro Range Poddy soft plastics.
Rocks and Beaches - Prolific numbers of salmon are still being
caught off the headlands and breakwall on metal slices and
pilchards with the bream, whiting and flathead prefering to stay
around the gutters on the beaches with the bait of choice being
beach worms and pilchards.
Offshore - Captain Ron from Winda Woppa Charters reports great
catches of large snapper, mowies, pigfish and nanniguai mainly
caught on fishbait with some pesky barracuta stealing the
rigs. Ron would like to take this opportunity to wish Graham,
Gaye and Bec all the best for their venture into the Tackle World
family.
